What CasinoTrust is, what it is not, and what stays your responsibility when you act on anything published here.

Read this page before you act on anything published at casinotrust.org. It forms part of our Terms of Use and covers every review, ranking, comparison, calculator and academy article on the site.

We are not a betting operator

CasinoTrust offers, hosts and facilitates no gambling whatsoever. We take no deposits, accept no bets, run no games, hold no player funds and pay out no winnings — there is no CasinoTrust account to fund by transfer, USSD or card. What we do is review and compare third-party platforms and publish educational material on casino games, poker, sports betting and prediction markets. Any betting you do happens on somebody else's site, under that site's terms, licence and dispute process, not ours. Our free practice games and calculators use no real money and award no prizes.

Information, not advice

Everything here is general information and editorial opinion. It is not legal, financial, tax or investment advice and must not be treated as such. A ranking reflects what our Ranking Protocol produced on the date of the last test — our professional assessment, not a guarantee that a platform will behave the same way for you. Strategy articles explain the mathematics behind games and how to shrink the house edge where that is even possible; no strategy removes the edge, and nothing on this site is a promise of profit.

Age limits

This site is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old — the minimum age in Nigeria — or the higher minimum that applies where you live (21 in several US states and elsewhere), to use this site or any platform we link to. We do not knowingly publish content aimed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from them; see the Privacy Policy. Operators are obliged to verify age, and anyone caught betting under age will have the account closed and the funds forfeited.

Geo-restrictions and the law where you are

Online gambling is legal in some countries, regulated or restricted in others, and outright banned in a few. In Nigeria the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) and the state lotteries boards licence domestic operators, while a great many international sites are simply reachable from a Nigerian connection without holding a Nigerian licence — and their own terms decide whether they will take you. Availability shifts too: whether platforms such as bet365, Betsson or Stake accept players from Nigeria varies over time, so check availability from Nigeria on the operator's own site rather than assuming. The responsibility is yours to establish whether using a given platform is lawful where you are and whether you meet its eligibility rules. We cannot give country-specific legal advice, and nothing here confirms that a service is available or legal in your jurisdiction. Reaching for a VPN or false details to get round geo-blocking almost always breaches the operator's terms and is a fast route to a confiscated balance.

Affiliate disclosure

Affiliate commission funds part of what we do. If you follow an outbound link to an operator and then open an account or deposit, that operator may pay us. Those links carry rel="sponsored" and the relationship is disclosed on the page itself. Commission does not move scores or rankings: our Editorial Policy explains how the commercial and editorial sides are kept apart, and platforms we have no agreement with are tested and scored by exactly the same protocol. Clearly labelled advertising slots may appear; they are never dressed up as editorial rankings.

Accuracy, and the absence of warranties

We take reasonable care to keep information accurate and current, with scheduled re-tests and dated scores. Even so, operators change terms, odds, games, payment methods, fees and licences constantly and without telling anyone. Content is therefore supplied "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Always confirm the current position on the operator's own site before you rely on it.

Bonus terms move

Where we describe a bonus, we are describing the structure we saw on the day we tested. Amounts, percentages, wagering multiples, game weightings, maximum bets, time limits and eligible countries can all change — and Nigerian accounts are frequently offered something different again. We do not publish figures we cannot verify, and where an offer is volatile we simply say "check the current offer on the site". The only terms that bind you are the operator's terms at the moment you accept the bonus.

Other people's websites

Links to operators, regulators, helplines and other external sites are there for convenience. We do not control any of them and take no responsibility for their content, uptime, privacy practices, security or how they handle your money. A link is not an endorsement beyond what our review actually says, and a platform appearing on this site does not make it suitable or lawful for you. Anything that has failed our standards is on the blacklist.

Telling us about an error

Spotted a mistake, an offer that has expired, or a platform behaving differently from how we describe it? Email contact@casinotrust.org with the details and screenshots where you have them. Verified reports go into the next update, and anything serious triggers an out-of-cycle re-test.
