This policy explains how casinotrust.org ("CasinoTrust", "we") uses cookies and similar browser storage. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly, and our Terms of Use.
The short version
- By default we store only two small items, and both are essential to the site working as you asked it to.
- We set no advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Optional analytics runs only if you click Accept on the consent bar, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
- Nothing we store identifies you by name, email or account, because the site has no user accounts.
Essential storage (no consent required)
Two items are stored as soon as you interact with the relevant control. They are strictly necessary to honour a choice you have made, so the law does not require consent for them.

Neither essential item contains personal data, and neither is transmitted to our servers. If you never touch the theme switch or the consent bar, nothing is stored at all.
Optional analytics (only after consent)
We may use a privacy-focused analytics service to understand which pages are read and where visitors drop off. Analytics is loaded only after you click Accept on the consent bar; if you click Reject or ignore the bar, no analytics script is requested and no analytics cookie is set. When analytics is active it records the page URL, referrer, approximate country derived from the IP address, browser type and screen size. IP addresses are truncated or hashed by the provider and are not stored in a form that identifies you. We do not link analytics data to any email you send us.
Clicks on outbound links to gambling operators may be counted as an event so we can see which reviews lead to visits. This counts clicks in aggregate; it does not tell us who clicked, and it never shares your visit with the operator.
Cookies we do not set
- No advertising cookies. We run no ad network and do not allow third parties to place advertising or retargeting cookies on our pages.
- No social media pixels. Sharing buttons, where present, are plain links that open the network's site; no script from Meta, X or others loads on our pages.
- No cross-site tracking. We do not fingerprint devices or follow you to other websites.
- No operator tracking on our side. When you click through to a casino or sportsbook, that site sets its own cookies under its own policy, which we do not control.
Third-party resources: Google Fonts
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser fetches a font file, Google receives your IP address and the requesting page URL, as with any resource fetched from a third-party server. Google states that the Fonts API does not set cookies and does not use font requests for profiling. If you prefer to avoid this request entirely, a browser extension that blocks third-party requests will do so; the site remains fully readable with system fonts.
How to withdraw consent or delete stored items

Optionally block analytics at browser level
Enabling your browser's tracking-protection mode or a content blocker prevents analytics scripts from loading regardless of consent state.
Changes to this policy
If we add a storage item or change an analytics provider, we will update the table above and the "updated" date at the top of this page before the change takes effect. Where a change requires new consent, the consent bar will be shown again.
